We made it home safely. Our experience in Turkey was a most enjoyable and profitable time. What we saw and heard will remain with us the rest of our lives. Our knowledge of the historical and biblical world of Turkey was greatly expanded! A major reason we feel this way is because of the wonderful guide we had: Gulin Pazargolu. She was great to work with; in fact, we all felt she was a part of our group, not just a guide. We found it difficult to leave her when we arrived at the Greek border. Highly Recommend!! My wife and I participated in a private, two-week tour of Turkiye during September 2025, led by Mert and Berna. Our group of twelve experienced the incredibly rich and diverse history of much of Turkiye…often described as the cradle of early civilization. The tour was a terrific blend of antiquities, museums, archeological sites, cuisine, ancient ruins, local cultures and their incredible crafts/hospitality. From modern and ancient Istanbul, we crisscrossed the country while absorbing ongoing historical and cultural lessons from Mert, whose depth in all things Turkiye is outstanding. We found the locals to all be welcoming and engaging. The trip was professionally led, well organized and rewarding. My wife and I agreed afterwards that the overall experience was so good that trying to top it with our next vacation will be very challenging.
