09:00 Departure from the hotel, cross the Ataturk Bridge on Golden Horn and drive along the City Walls dating back to the 5th.century AD. built by Theodosius II... Visit the Fener Roman Orthodox Patriarchate. Then visit the Chora Church, a14th century Byzantine church which had been converted into a mosque in the 15th. century, famous for finest example of Byzantine mosaics decorating the ceiling and the walls with scenes taken from the old and the New Testaments. Take a stroll through the typical Turkish neighbor-hood around the church. Continue visiting St.Sergius & Bacchus Church.

12:30 Lunch at a terrace-restaurant, enjoy the superb view of Golden Horn and Haghia Sophia.

14:00 16:30 after lunch visit Byzantine Mosaics Museum on the ruins of the old Byzantine Palace. Then walk to the Haghia Sophia church museum which was the largest Church of the East Roman Empire, then converted into a mosque during the Ottoman Era, now serves a museum for visitors from all over the world. Continue visiting the Underground Cistern Basilica which served as the water reservoir of the city both during the Byzantine and the Ottoman Empires.
