The transfer from Kuşadasi to İzmir Airport takes a little over an hour. Travelers are responsible for booking their own flights from İzmir back to Istanbul.

We recommend allowing at least two extra days in Istanbul at the end of the tour if your schedule permits.

Tour Program

1. Day November 10, Tuesday | Welcome to Istanbul

Arrive in the magical city of Istanbul. At 1:00 PM, we gather for a welcome meeting before setting out on an Old Town orientation walk. The highlight of the afternoon is a guided visit to the Hagia Sophia, where Byzantine and Ottoman heritage blend beneath one majestic dome. In the evening, we share our first dinner together, the perfect chance to connect with fellow travelers.

2. Day November 11, Wednesday | Palaces & Bazaars

Step into Ottoman grandeur with a guided visit to the Topkapi Palace, including its Harem and the serene Hagia Irene. After a lunch break, descend into the mysterious Basilica Cistern, then continue to the bustling Grand Bazaar for an orientation and free time to wander, shop, or soak up the atmosphere.

3. Day November 12, Thursday | Mosques, Avenues & Bosphorus Cruise

Begin with the iconic Blue Mosque, then shift from history to modern life with a walk down İstiklal Avenue, where you’ll also have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, discover the fragrant Spice Market before ending the day with an enchanting Bosphorus Cruise, gliding between Europe and Asia as the city lights sparkle.

4. Day November 13, Friday | Flight to Cappadocia

Fly into surreal Cappadocia, a landscape of fairy chimneys and ancient cave dwellings. After a lunch break, enjoy an orientation walk of Sinasos Town, a charming village of stone houses and winding lanes. The rest of the day is yours to relax at the hotel or explore Sinasos at leisure.

5. Day November 14, Saturday | Valleys & Traditions

Discover the magical rock formations of Paşabağı Valley, then explore the UNESCO-listed Göreme Open-Air Museum with its painted cave churches. For lunch, we’ll be warmly welcomed into Fahriye’s family home in Ortahisar, sharing a traditional meal. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic walk through the romantic Love Valley.

6. Day November 15, Sunday | Hot Air Balloon & Underground Wonders

Start the day with an optional hot air balloon ride over Göreme, a once-in-a-lifetime experience at sunrise. Continue with a walk through Zelve Valley, then visit a local pottery workshop in Avanos, where age-old crafts come alive. After lunch, we descend into Kaymaklı Underground City, an astonishing refuge carved beneath the earth. End with sweeping panoramas at the Uçhisar Castle viewpoint.

7. Day November 16, Monday | Silk Road to Konya

Journey along the ancient Silk Road with a stop at the impressive Sultanhan Caravanserai. Continue to Konya, the city of Rumi, where we’ll visit the poet-philosopher’s mausoleum. Later, enjoy a discovery walk through Alaaddin Park, rich with layers of history and local life.

8. Day November 17, Tuesday | Aspendos & Antalya

Depart from Konya and travel toward the Mediterranean. Stop for a scenic riverside lunch near Aspendos, followed by a visit to the magnificent Aspendos Ancient Theatre, one of the best-preserved in the world. Arrive in Antalya, where we’ll enjoy an orientation walk through the Old Town (Kaleiçi), filled with charm and seaside atmosphere.

9. Day November 19, Thursday | Aphrodisias & the Aegean Coast

Drive through the picturesque landscapes of Anatolia to Aphrodisias, the ancient city dedicated to Aphrodite, goddess of love. Explore its marble ruins, including the theatre and stadium, before a lunch break. Continue to Kuşadası, arriving at our beautiful waterfront hotel by evening.

10. Day November 20, Friday | Ephesus & Turkish Weaving Arts

Step into history at the ancient city of Ephesus, walking marble streets past temples, the Great Theatre, and the Library of Celsus. Afterward, enjoy a lunch at a local cooperative, supporting the community. In the afternoon, learn about traditional Turkish weaving arts in a cultural lecture. The evening is free, with optional spa time at the hotel.

11. Day November 21, Saturday | Farewell on the Aegean

Begin with an optional morning walk in Kuşadası. Then visit the Ephesus Archaeological Museum and the historic Basilica of St. John. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of free time by the sea, before we gather in the evening for a farewell cocktail and dinner, celebrating new friendships and unforgettable memories.
